Antidiscrimination Counselling
The ADiBe Network Hesse was established in September 2016 on behalf of the Hessian Ministry of Social Affairs and Integration. It complements the anti-discrimination office at the ministry, which has been in existence since 2015.
ADiBe advises and supports people who have been discriminated against, confidentially and independently. Unlike an authority, ADiBe can take a partisan stand on the side of those affected, offer an initial legal assessment, make individual cases of discrimination public and accompany this process.
The ADiBe Network Hessen is an association of currently 17 organizations that have many years of experience in the psychosocial or legal counseling of people who have experienced discrimination. The individual organizations specialize in different discrimination characteristics or combinations of characteristics: for example, racist attributions, disability, sexual identity, anti-Muslim, anti-Semitic or anti-gypsy discrimination and many more.
