Bnei Israel Jewish Community of Galicia
Today, and 520 years after the expulsion of Jews from Spain, we can proudly say that once again Jewish life and tradition have been restored in northern Sepharad, with the creation of a still small Community, “A Comunidade Xudía Beni Israel de Galiza”, made up of families committed to transmitting and maintaining life, memory and remembrance of such an important stage in this land as the values of their Jewishness were in their day.
