Origins :

The teaching page has been developed by Brian BM Larsen and Peter Vogelsang, both masters from the Department of History, University of Copenhagen.

The resource has been developed in collaboration with the Department of Holocaust and genocide studies, at the Danish Institute for International Studies. Consultant is Associate Professor Karl Christian Lammers, University of Copenhagen. Programmer Svein Waagstein Rasmussen.

Aims :

The purpose of an Internet-based Holocaust education page is to provide teachers and secondary school pupils and students in higher education institutions with the best possible interactive tool for learning about the Holocaust.

Actions :

DCHGS conducts research, education, and documentation on the Holocaust and other genocides. They raise awareness about the consequences of antisemitism and promote tolerance and understanding. They provide a platform to educate about the Holocaust.
