Empowering Jewish Voices – media strategies against anti-Semitism
This project is an educational program for young Jewish people to be active against various different types and tropes of antisemitism, in real life as well as on social media platforms.
People who wish to join our project are mandated to take an active stand against antisemitism in public, among society and online.
The project provides systematic and practical knowledge about the prevention and fighting of anti-Semitism as well as solid knowledge about the participant’s tradition and identity through sessions with experts on antisemitism, history, journalism and other subjects. One major focus is on media, as well as on political and educational work. Based on their own interests, the participants are free to choose their curriculum to emphasize “Media and Politics” or “Education”.
After the successful completion of the course, the participants receive a certificate from the European Janusz Korczak Academy and the Jewish Agency for Israel.
The course is in English and German and is run by the European Janusz Korczak Academy in Germany.
