Interreligious Studies Academy

The ISA Academy (Interreligious Studies Academy) was founded in 2007 in Milan by twelve founding members with the aim of promoting intellectual, educational and pedagogical initiatives useful for a deeper knowledge of religions, especially Judaism, Christianity and of Islam.

A group of teachers, educators and cultural mediators, with many years of experience in intercultural and interreligious dialogue, works to provide training responses suitable for the complexity of European society. Pedagogical-didactic experiences, gained in the context of school and extracurricular teaching, are accompanied by doctrinal knowledge and transversal skills useful for declining religious requests in areas such as economy and work, health, art, integration .

The many activities concerning Islam respond to the requests for a greater study and contextualization towards other religions and secularism.

Of particular importance are the initiatives promoted annually in Lombardy, Piedmont, Liguria and Lazio where partnerships and collaborations have been consolidated at various levels.
