Competence Center

The competence center draws on many years of experience and expertise in the field of youth and adult education. With our interdisciplinary team we develop innovative approaches, concepts and programs  for dealing with anti-Semitism and discrimination in educational and social fields of action.

Strengthening the Jewish community  is an important concern of the competence center. With our diverse empowerment formats, we create space for the exchange of experience , power sharing and sustainable  network building nationwide.

As part of the  OFEK eV advice center  , we offer individual and group advice after anti-Semitic incidents. OFEK advises those affected and their environment and supports schools and other institutions in dealing with anti-Semitism and discrimination.

The competence center aims to stimulate theoretical reflections, provide practical impulses and bundle professional perspectives. The theoretical foundation of anti-Semitism prevention is important to us. Through research projects, studies, specialist discussions, specialist symposia and topic-related publications, we strengthen the transfer of science and practice and actively contribute to the diversification and further development of the specialist debates.

The stimulating communication with politics and society is an important concern of the competence center. Through our active membership in various committees, we advise  specialists and executives from politics, society and the media in the development,  conception and implementation of innovative ideas and effective programs.
