LICRA (Ligue Internationale Contre le Racisme et l’Antisémitisme)
Founded by the French journalist, Bernard Lecache, in 1927, the International League Against Racism and Antisemitism (LICRA) is an NGO fighting against racism, antisemitism, xenophobia and discriminations. Licra provides different types of actions thanks to the help of active volunteers in several fields such as “Education”, “Sport”, and “Culture” in partnership with national and local authorities. Licra is offering a free legal assistance to victims of racism and antisemitism with the help of one hundred of volunteer lawyers. Licra is also involved in several European projects for tackling online hate speech.
