Educational center Anne Frank

As a center for political education and advice, the Anne Frank educational institution is active in Frankfurt, Hesse and nationwide to sensitize young people and adults to anti-Semitism, racism and other forms of misanthropy – and to strengthen them for active participation in an open, democratic society. Since it was founded in 1994 , the educational institution has oriented its diverse commitment to Anne Frank’s desire for a world without hatred and violence and the humanistic message of her world-famous diary.

In workshops, advanced training courses and interactive exhibitions (“learning laboratories”), schoolchildren, teachers and pedagogues learn how to recognize current forms of anti-Semitism, racism and discrimination and what they can do about it.

In two counseling centers we support those affected by right-wing, racist and anti-Semitic violence as well as people who have experienced discrimination.
