Center for Information and Documentation Israel
The Center for Information and Documentation Israel (CIDI), founded in 1974, is the Netherlands’ leading organization dedicated to combating antisemitism and spreading awareness of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. CIDI’s mission is to safeguard the Jewish people’s right to a peaceful and secure existence, in Israel and around the world.
CIDI shares its expert opinions on issues related to Israel and antisemitism in Dutch media and in parliamentary hearings. CIDI organizes fact finding missions to Israel for politicians, journalists, and opinion leaders. Moreover, CIDI has taken over 300 high school history teachers to the Yad Vashem Holocaust museum in Jerusalem for a Seminar on Holocaust Education, to ensure that the history of the Holocaust will be taught even when no survivors will be alive.
