Center Sefarad-Israel

The joint effort of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, the Autonomous Community of Madrid, and the Madrid City Council, made possible the foundation in 2006 of an institution of a public and purely Spanish nature that, in addition to deepening the study of the legacy of Sephardic culture as an integral and living part of Spanish culture, promote a greater knowledge of Jewish culture within Spanish society.

Centro Sefarad-Israel has become a common space and meeting place for Jewish communities and organizations in Spain and around the world.
