Jewish Community Bielfeld Beit Tikwa
History
It is possible that the history of the Jewish community in Bielefeld is as old as the history of the city itself (founded in 1214). The earliest documentary evidence of the settlement of Jews, however, dates back to the middle of the 14th century.
Today
The Beit Tikva Synagogue has been the center of the community since 2008.
Children’s group AVIV
The children’s and youth group meets every month on a Sunday. There is always an exciting program and excursions that the madrichim*ot of the community prepare and plan. Whether climbing, bowling, mini golf or simply eating – you will not get bored!
