Volunteer training

Training for volunteers gathers participants from inside and outside of the Jewish community who would like to contribute to the organization, and the society in general, in different ways. For non-Jewish members of the volunteer group this is usually the first encouter with the Jewish community, Jewish culture and tradition and Holocaust. Through the educational process that happens, all of the participants become eqipped with skills and knowledge necessary to represent the organization, recognize discrimination and antisemitism around them and react to the unjustices they notice. Volunteers are active members of the organiztion and help the Haver staff deliver workshops at schools, organize various events, initiate new projects, etc.
